      J. J. Bednarz, Sr. who passed away on Friday, June 9. On Wednesday, June 14, there will be a visitation in the at Parish Hall and 10:00am followed by a Rosary in the church at 10:30am and the Funeral Mass at 11:00am. The Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park following mass.

      Jean Piecki who passed on Wednesday, June 2nd. On Tuesday, June 13, there will be a visitation at 9:00am in the Parish Hall followed by the funeral Mass at 10:00am in the church. The internment will be after the mass at Greenwood Cemetery.

      Archbishop Thomas J Rodi has appointed Deacon Nicholas Napolitano as new Associate Pastor at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church. Deacon Napolitano will be ordained a Priest of Jesus Christ on June 3rd, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Mobile, Al, 10:00am. I am grateful to the Archbishop for sending us a new associate pastor. I ask all St Bede parishioners to begin praying for Deacon Napolitano that he may find in our parish a beloved home!

      Fr Zach Greenwell has been appointed Pastor of St. John the Evangelist, Enterprise, AL. He will begin his new assignment July 1st. Let us thank him for his dedicated service to St. Bede.

      Father Carucci is back in the hospital. His kidneys are not doing very well. They are starting supportive dialysis and some other procedures over the next few days. Please keep him in your prayers. He sends his love and thanks.

      While he greatly appreciates everyone's concern and prayers, he requests no visitors at this time. He does check his text messages and email, so if you would like to send him an encouraging word please do so at: FrCarucci@olgal.org
