      October 23rd is our next family gathering. Fr. Alex will prepare Puerto Rican cuisine - Arroz con Gandules and Pernil. Lunch will be from 11am-2pm, Games/events 1pm-4pm, Silent Auction 12pm-3pm, Live Auction 2:30pm, 50/50 Raffle Draw 4pm. Bring the whole family and let's all have fun!

      St. Bede Catholic Church Office needs a full-time Secretary to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Managing the Food Pantry, Answering office phones, Recording of Sacramental entries, Assisting ministers with maintaining and organizing files, records and documentation. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office with experience on Word, Excel, Publisher (Power Point a plus). This position comes with a benefits package.       Great things are happening at the Catholic Children's Ministry @ St. Bede. We have the best children and teachers here! We are looking for an energetic and awesome toddler teacher. Teaching pre- school age children isn't easy, but it's definitely rewarding! Everyday is a different day! If you are interested in learning more, please email Audra: astarrett@stbede.org.

      This is a catechetical pilot program to help faith-filled Catholics grow and mature fully in their identity as a Catholic. Led by Fr. Alejandro Valladares and Fr. Zachary Greenwell, each lesson will be one-hour long with time for questions. The topics will vary week to week. Fr. Zach began on Thursday, October 13 with "A Study of Human Nature and Divine Grace" and on October 27, Fr. Alex will teach "Introduction to Spiritual Warfare". If there is a sufficient response, the program will continue.

      Dorcas ladies will have their handcrafted items on sale at the Coffee & Donuts in the Parish Hall on Sunday, November 6th after the 8am, 10am & 12:30pm Masses. All proceeds will be used to purchase buckwheat for neck pillows that they make for cancer patients. They also accept monetary donations.

      St. Vincent de Paul Society-St. Bede Chapter has new leadership and is reorganizing under the direction of Jo Ann Erhardt. A presentation will take place Monday, August 15, at 6pm in the Parish Hall-Miguel Pro Room. Any parishioners interested in joining the Society are invited to attend.

      25-ft LED lamps has been installed in the side and the back of the church on July 22nd.
