Saint Bede the Venerable is a parish of 1,225+ households located in Montgomery, Alabama. St. Bede actually began as a mission church in the 1920s, but officially became a parish in 1946. Since that time, it has steadily grown into the large yet close-knit community it is today. The St. Bede church moved to its present location in the fall of 1969. The St. Bede parish now includes the St. Bede School, a 360-student K-6 facility that was built in 1958, and the St. Bede Child Development Center that is located in our new Family Life Center. The dates for this year's VBS are Monday thru Thursday, June 17-20, with a family dinner Thursday evening.  We will begin at 9am each morning and conclude at 11:30am in the Family Life Center. Children entering K-5 thru grade 5 in the fall are invited to attend.  Registration will begin soon.

Volunteers are needed in many areas from babysitting to games, snack preparation to crafts and many other activities.  Many volunteers are needed.  This is a great way to get volunteer hours for the Church and have fun at the same time.
